The MOS-FET is a high-performance semiconductor chip with excellent properties such as a linear operation curve and low distortion for use as an amplifier device. Thanks to the excellent properties of the four incorporated 50 W MOS-FET amplifiers the system is able to reproduce the clear and powerful audio of up market hi-fi.
New Dual Zone function
The Dual Zone function lets you output the audio of a music source such as CD or radio from the front speakers, while the rear speakers deliver audio from the component connected to the AUX input. Models without a built-in AUX input can use a component connected to the auxiliary input adaptor (CA-C1AX )connected to the changer control terminal) as the rear speaker audio source. A separate volume control for the rear speakers is added to allow independent volume control of front and rear speakers to create different "audio spaces" with different programme sources for the front and rear seats. A reverse function is also provided to offer easy switching of front and rear audio.

The touch panel allows the user to control the system by simply touching desired positions on the monitor screen.
DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW Playback
Certain H/U are compatible with multiple DVD media (video formats only) including DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW and DVD+RW play original DVDs recorded on home DVD recorders. The compatibility with almost all media used in home DVD recorders makes it possible to play a variety of DVD video without being too concerned about the format.

RDS Radio Text
RDS stands for "Radio Data System." It is an international standard for broadcasting data in the sub-carrier signal of the radio waves from FM stations. Its functions include the PS (Programme Service name) for displaying programme service labels in up to 8 digits, the PI (Programme Identification) for searching an alternative station when the receiving sensitivity of a station drops during movement, the TA (Traffic Announcement identification) for switching to a traffic information station, and the RADIO-TEXT function for displaying text of artist names and music names.
